Project Manager, Safety, Compliance & Quality - Healthcare

Our history consists of some of the nation’s most innovative real estate projects that years later still impact trends in development.The Oxford Project Manager, Safety and Compliance reports to the Project Director and will support the efforts of the Project Management team for a leading healthcare client, with primary duties and responsibilities to oversee the opening and closing of the job site. The Project Manager ensures that key project outcomes are met with minimal disruption to ongoing facility operations and supports the successful transition of projects from construction to activation.Project & Construction ManagementEnsure all contractors and subcontractors are working safely, in compliance with OSHA, DOH, TJC, and AHN expectations.Participate in pre-construction planning and ensure work plans incorporate the clients standards for safety, communication, and brand reputation. Manage documentation for all approved “T&M” work, such as ensuring prior client’s approval of T&M work, monitoring jobsite activities (i.e. to measure manpower, equipment, materials, etc.), approving T&M work tickets, and working with other client’s project leaders to align (i.e. on pay application reviews for T&M items, etc.).General jobsite management as the client’s agent/representative, such as making sure jobsites are presentable and clean, that upcoming scheduled construction activities are well communicated, that signage is appropriate and orderly, etc.Manage and communicate any design conflicts discovered on the jobsite to the project team.Manage and communicate all shutdowns (MEP, closed roads, sidewalks, etc.) that effect hospital operations with Facilities Management and the project team.Manage any "client held" city permits related to sidewalk/road closures (DOMI) that are required for the project.Intimate familiarity with the project design and specs as "this position" is responsible for overall QA/QC. Meaning what is designed and spec'd is what gets installed.Relationship ManagementFacilitate communication between Owner, architects, engineers, user groups, equipment vendors and contractors.Coordinate and schedule meeting with the above as the project dictates.Respond to inquiries timely.Interface with senior management of Oxford Development Company on all aspects of construction when required.What we require: College degree in related field required.
