As a Civil Engineer you will lead and manage multiple infrastructure and building projects, including structural steel analysis, design, and construction. The Civil Engineer must possess a strong background in civil engineering principles and practices, with experience in project management and construction management. The Civil Engineer must have a strong technical background, proven project management abilities, and the skills to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders. This role involves working on various infrastructure projects, ensuring that Government and Public / Civic designs meet client specifications and regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. ***THIS POSITION REQUIRES THAT THE CIVIL ENGINEER HAVE AN ACTIVE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER (P.E.) Key Responsibilities Develop detailed designs for grading, drainage, dry -wet utility and other public improvements Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and environmental impact assessments Prepare and review technical diagrams, drawings, specifications, and reports Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for routine and complex projects Prepare scopes for GPRS, Geotechnical, LIDAR / Aerials Prepare Survey Scopes for Property land use controls Prepare SWPPP Monitor Cost Control within budget Prepare Hydrology studies and reports Prepare soil import / export Work as PM for Design - Build delegated task orders Assist procuring Bids and Estimates Negotiate Contracts, invoices Collaborate with Design teams on review of building designs and plans Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects. Prepare and maintain accurate records of project work, including reports and documentation Prepare preliminary plan sets for agency submittal Complete technical and report writing Prepare and present project proposals to clients and company stakeholders, including cost estimates and timelines. Collaborate with our Architect, external contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success. Monitor all drawings for QC Attend formal training and maintain certifications Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise-ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Ensure all engineering activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations Conduct quality control inspections and tests on materials and workmanship Other duties as assigned. Qualification & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Must have at least 5 years of professional experience in civil engineering MUST HAVE A PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER (P.E.) LICENSE AND BE ABLE TO PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION OF THE LICENSE Proven experience in civil engineering projects for construction Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, or other engineering design tools. Work w/ 3D BIM Revit/ 3D Civil / D AutoCAD / Bluebeam / Spec INTACT Strong technical writing skills for creating reports, proposals, and project documentation. Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, organizing, and coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in construction monitoring to ensure compliance with design specifications.
