Company DescriptionBright Heart Therapy is a small private practice. Julie Boone, LMFT is the director and supervisor. We currently have four employees who manage their own case loads as they gain hours toward licensing requirements.Role DescriptionThis is a flexible part time- full time, hybrid (on-site and/or telehealth) role for an Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (ALMFT) or Associate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (ALPCC), located Sacramento, CA. The professional in this role will provide individual, couples, and family counseling services, develop treatment plans, maintain accurate client records, and collaborate with other professionals to support client outcomes. Duties also include conducting assessments, offering therapeutic interventions, and engaging in regular client progress reviews to ensure effective treatment plans. They will be expected to maintain confidentiality and abide by ethical guidelines related to therapy and counseling professions. The associates are expected to build their own client base and pursue networking and marketing as needed. The practice does not bill for insurance and is private pay. The supervisor offers weekly supervision meetings and provides Simple Practice software as well as access to a professional office. The pay is on a commission basis with employees retaining half of the fees they bring it. This is a contract position, candidate to be hired as a W2 employee, there are no benefits or paid time off offered.QualificationsPossess licensure as an Associate LMFT or LPCC and maintain compliance with licensing requirementsStrong skills in counseling, therapeutic communication, and active listeningExperience in developing treatment plans and evidence-based therapy practicesExcellence in interpersonal relationship-building and collaboration with other professionalsCommitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical and legal guidelinesProficiency in maintaining detailed and accurate client records and documentationA master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related fieldFamiliarity with culturally responsive therapy practices is a plusDesire to develop business skill of running a private practice with a fee-for-service model
