Job Description EXCITING OPPORTUNITY:We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to become a part of our hospital-based Psychiatric team.COMPENSATION PACKAGE:Option #1: A base salary of $321,330* (50th percentile MGMA for recent graduates) with additional earnings based on experience, guaranteed for two years. This can transition to a wRVU production contract once targets are surpassed.Option #2: A base salary of $389,975* (75th percentile MGMA) guaranteed for the first year, after which it will shift to a wRVU production contract.* A 5% reduction applies for those who are not yet board certified, with salary adjustments made upon certification.The two-year contract also includes:Vacation: 29 days of paid time off (PTO). An additional 5 days of PTO will be granted upon achieving 75th percentile wRVUs.CME/Books & Journals: 5 days of PTO and funding up to $5,000.Deferred Compensation: Participation in a 457b plan, allowing deferral of compensation up to the IRS limit of $24,500 annually before taxes. No matching contributions are provided.Retirement/Savings Plan: A 403b plan that allows deferral of compensation up to the IRS limit of $24,500 annually for those under 50, and $31,000 for those over 50. The organization matches contributions dollar for dollar up to 2% of base salary.Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 paid directly to the moving company.Additional Benefits:Malpractice Insurance: Coverage under a claims-made policy with limits of $1,000,000 per claim and $3,000,000 aggregate.Health Insurance: A small premium is deducted from the physician's paycheck.Liquidated Damages: A non-compete clause of 70 miles for two years, or liquidated damages equivalent to one year's salary.Medical School Loan Repayment: Up to $200,000 in repayment ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment).Residency Stipend: Up to $25,000 (requires a service commitment of up to two years).Sign-On Bonus: 15% of the base salary, up to $100,000 (paid upon signing the contract and forgiven over 2-4 years based on the bonus amount).Bonus Incentives: Attractive bonus opportunities up to 10% of salary.PRACTICE INFORMATION:Practice Location: To be determined.Office Hours/Work Schedule:Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM.On-call rotation: 1:6.Staffing:Kendall Stewart, MD (Collaborator)Janell Ison, DOAmber Buffinger, CNPLori Guinn, LISWKayla Harris, CNPBrennon Giles, CNPMichael Purdy, CNPKari Ward, CNP1 Nurse, 2.5 Medical Office Assistants (MOAs)Patient Load: An average of 12-16 patients per day.Additional Responsibilities:Clinical case reviews.Participation in Psychiatric Grand Rounds.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Teaching Opportunities: The organization hosts medical students, residents, and advanced practitioner trainees.
