We celebrate change and are always looking for ways to do things better!What You'll Do:Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to senior leadership, including C-suite executives, on corporate governance, risk, and business operationsDraft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer, supplier, manufacturing, and lease agreementsOversee licensing management, including contractor and technician licensing and renewalsManage regulatory compliance efforts across multiple jurisdictions, including state, provincial, and local code requirements (e.g., elevator and pool regulations)Lead insurance program management, including general liability, E&O, and cyber coverageManage litigation and disputes, including coordination with outside counselProvide guidance on privacy, data security, and incident/breach responseAdvise on cross-border legal matters involving Canada and Mexico, including employment, customs, and commercial relationshipsSupport mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and post-acquisition integrationProvide legal support to HR on employment-related mattersOversee intellectual property protection and strategy What You'll Bring: Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive license and good standing with the Texas BarMinimum of 5+ years of corporate law experience (in-house or law firm)Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial contractsDemonstrated knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory complianceExcellent legal research, writing, and analytical skillsStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesAbility to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally What We Do: Our mission is simple - We provide critical communications services to help people in distress.Our Core Values are even simpler:1.
