EBX Java Developer

Job TitleThe purpose of this job is to build and provide support for the various applications, processes, data, and reports within the company's Master Data Management Platform (TIBCO EBX5)Create and develop new application software as well as develop features and functionality for existing software with limited guidance from management or senior team membersProvide support for existing software applications, including moderate troubleshooting and bug fixesAdd features, fixes, and enhancements to new and existing applications, processes, and reports; recommend technology to use; assist in determining solution for development of new features and enhancementsIndependently troubleshoot and analyze basic issues with applications, processes, data, and reports; help determine appropriate action to follow to resolve these issuesTest application code, features, functionality, and fixes; assist quality assurance (QA) as neededCollaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and users to support basic day-to-day business functionsCollaborate with business users to clarify requirements for moderately complex new or existing featuresAssist in training support staff and other team members on the proper use and troubleshooting of software applicationsCreate new documentation and update existing documentation for IT systems and processes; follow the recommended format, process, and diagrams to be used in the creation of materialsAssist junior team members through mentoring, collaboration, and code reviewsQualificationsMinimum three years' experience in application developmentBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required; Master's degree is a plus, preferably in computer science or MISJava development experience requiredMust have skills: Tibco, JavaMust have 4+ years' experience with TIBCO EBXHands on Experience implementing TIBCO EBX Workflows dynamically using JAVAAny experience with Product upgrades, specifically to 6.0vExperience on creating custom views, triggers, constraints, and script tasksExperience with EBX addons (Like DAMA) and how to use them efficiently.Experience on creating custom pages with HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT)Experience on workflows both Maker checker and Direct mergeCustom pages on UIEBX Data model creationsNice to have EBX addons like Match & Merge, Survivorship.Write REST and SOAP services for data publishing and consumption using Java 1 6 and J2EE 1Hands on experience on SDLC of Web and Server side interactive application using java J2EEExperience in writing JDBC JMS program modulesReports and POI frameworkKnowledge in Job scheduling – Active Batch preferredKnowledge on java XML processingKnowledge with message queuing and lambda processing preferredExperienced in writing SQL and performed optimization and query tuning Implemented build automation and continuous integration using JENKINSExperience in GITHUB for version control and approval process for merging branchesExperience in deploying builds in tomcat servers on various environments that Include DEV/Test Prod EnvironmentsExperience with Agile
