GCP Cloud Engineer

Location: Chicago, IL and Austin, TX Key Responsibilities: Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and DevOps principles. Design, build, and orchestrate scalable cloud infrastructure. Deploy GCP service/infrastructure meeting IAM, security & compliance and resiliency. Provision and manage cloud resources using IaaC using Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager. Implementing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment and build API. Create and manage Google Apigee API management and MongoDB Atlas. Security remediation GCE, Buckets, IAM, Cloud Storage, Cloud Monitoring & Logging, Big query. Ansible scripting for VM Deployment using GCVE. Adopt and implement DevOps CI/CD pipeline code release and deployments. Support & manage platforms like Kubernetes and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, propose & implement solutions for stable environment. Core Experience: 6+ years of cloud migration and build/deploy cloud infrastructure. 4+ years of Google Cloud Platform services and cloud security & networking. 4+ years of Infrastructure as a Code using Terraform, Ansible & Cloud Deployment Manager. 4+ years of CI GitLab / CD Octopus for infrastructure deployments. 2+ experience in GKE implementation, Google Apigee API, MongoDB Atlas, GCVE. 2+ years of Linux troubleshooting e.g. file-system, systems performance issues. Good documentation skills and knowledge sharing with team.
