Portfolio Chief Engineer

Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Portfolio Chief Engineer to lead and oversee a family of programs at our New Jersey sites. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the RF Electronic Warfare domain across the product lifecycle. Responsibilities of this role may include:Technical leadership over a large multidisciplinary team developing a complex capabilityLeadership of communications to customers, other contractors, internal stakeholders, and government officials, including preparation and delivery of technical presentationsRF EW Mission UnderstandingRF EW Concept of Operations DefinitionRF EW System Requirements Definition and ManagementRF EW System and Architecture DesignRF EW System Integration and TestRF EW System Verification and ValidationRF EW System Test Planning and execution in a variety of environmentsProposals, including solution development, leadership of technical volumes, and oversight of cost and schedule estimationSupport to factory operations to ensure on time delivery of the highest quality productsIndependent formulation and implementation of complex system solutions, with a specific focus on closure orientation and right sized solutionsThis position will require you to be onsite in either Totowa or Wanye New Jersey. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.
