Labor Management Analyst (On-site)
Complete Care ManagementOn-Site PositionComplete Care Management is seeking a highly analytical and operations-driven Labor Management Analyst to support staffing optimization and labor management initiatives across our skilled nursing facilities. This on-site role will work closely with Regional leadership, Administrators, Schedulers, Payroll, and facility teams to improve staffing efficiency, control labor costs, and ensure PBJ compliance.The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare staffing operations, labor analytics, scheduling, and workforce management within skilled nursing or long-term care.Major Duties & ResponsibilitiesStaff OptimizationCollaborate with facility schedulers to develop and maintain master schedules utilizing all full-time and part-time employeesEducate facility leadership teams on staffing-to-budget principles and labor management best practicesReview daily census and staffing requirements to ensure appropriate staffing coverage and efficiencyAssist facilities in reducing overtime and agency dependency through proactive staffing strategiesLabor Analysis & MonitoringMonitor employee schedules to ensure team members are working their full committed weekly hoursAnalyze and report labor metrics including:Overtime (OT) costsAgency utilization and expensesBonus trackingCreep time and labor variancesIdentify trends and provide actionable recommendations to improve labor performancePrepare labor reports and operational summaries for leadership reviewAgency ManagementNegotiate competitive agency rates and contract termsReview and audit agency invoices for accuracyInvestigate and dispute billing discrepancies when necessaryMonitor agency usage and support initiatives to reduce agency relianceCompliance & ReportingPerform PBJ (Payroll-Based Journal) analysis and auditingWork directly with Regional teams, Administrators, and Schedulers to prepare accurate PBJ submissionsEnsure compliance and accuracy related to:Correct job descriptionsProper pay typesCapturing all worked hours, including agency hoursEmployee linking and data integrityConduct PBJ audits to ensure ongoing compliance with federal reporting requirementsQualificationsExperience in healthcare labor management, staffing, scheduling, payroll, or workforce analytics preferredSkilled nursing or long-term care experience strongly preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills preferredAbility to interpret labor data and communicate recommendations effectivelyStrong organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively with operational and clinical leadership teamsWhy Join Complete Care?Growing healthcare organization with opportunities for advancementCollaborative and supportive leadership environmentCompetitive compensation and benefits packageOpportunity to make a direct operational impact across multiple facilitiesJoin Complete Care Management and help drive staffing excellence, labor efficiency, and operational success throughout our organization.#CC2024
