Join us and find out why we have been a Fortune Best Place to Work for since 2004!As an Administrative Assistant, you will tap into your analytical skills by researching, compiling, and entering data to maintain accuracy and the integrity of reporting. Additionally, you will proactively perform administrative duties to support junior to mid-level bankers which includes managing calendars, scheduling meetings, calls, arranging travel, and processing expenses. This role will also serve as backup support for the front office hospitality team.To be successful in this role, you should be a curious, self-starter who has great attention to details and is eager to take on new tasks and challenges, identify efficiency gaps and fulfill them. We take pride in nurturing the development and advancement of our associates, by offering training for growth opportunities within the Administrative Assistant role.This position offers flexibility to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the Tysons Corner office and Monday and Friday remote.The Impact You'll Make:Perform data entry responsibilities including data mining, data clean-up, and ongoing system updates to ensure accuracy and integrity of reportingSupport a team of junior / mid-level bankers assisting with project focused tasksManage and coordinate various calendars and synchronize schedules for team calls, meetings, etc.Arranging domestic and international travel and become knowledgeable on Travel policies, procedures, and changesPreparing, processing, submitting, and tracking expenses; become knowledgeable on Expense policies, procedures, and changesBackup support to Administrative Assistants / Executive Assistant in their absence including receptionist desk, hospitality, etcBuild relationships with bankers and peers through collaborative efforts and teamworkCoordinate with the Conference Center team to reserve conference rooms and catering for internal meetingRepresent Baird in a professional manner and thoughtful demeanor both internally and externally with clients, bankers, and peersWhat You'll Bring to Baird:High school diploma or equivalent required3+ years of Administrative Assistant experience, preferably within the financial services industryStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsHighly detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracyEffective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlinesDemonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skillsProficient to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience with travel and expense reporting systems (Concur preferred)Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)Compensation and Benefits:$28.25-$38.25 hourly rateBonus potential up to 8.5% of base payCompensation and bonus are commensurate with experience, performance and/or firm profitabilityYou'll have the opportunity to advance your career while enjoying our comprehensive benefits designed for your life, career and future.Baird is committed to diversity and provides employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, citizenship, national origin, age, disability, military service, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetic information, or any other status protected by law.
