LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Sonora, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Position Details: Position: Registered Nurse – ICU Facility: Adventist Health Sonora Work Location: 1000 Greenley Road, Sonora, CA 95370 Start Date: 04/13/2026 Shift: Night Shift (07:00 PM – 07:30 AM) Schedule: 3x12 Hours / 36 Hours per Week Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend Requirements: ICU RN experience required Experience with titratable IV drips required (vasopressors, propofol, fentanyl, etc.) Ability to care for respiratory failure, sepsis, DKA, and cardiac patients Experience with BiPAP and cardiac drips preferred Role Overview: The ICU RN will care for patients in a 12-bed ICU/SDU combined unit (6 ICU beds and 6 Stepdown beds) . ICU ratio is typically 1:2 , and 1:3 in SDU . Nurses may float between ICU and SDU and occasionally to Med-Surg or ED if census is low. The unit treats a wide range of patients including respiratory failure, DKA, sepsis, STEMI, cardiac cath patients, and alcohol withdrawal . SDU patients may require medications such as diltiazem or amiodarone drips and respiratory support including BiPAP .
