Speech Language Pathologist - PRN

DescriptionResponsibilities:Will have the task of meeting the speech therapy needs of ESH's community which may include inpatient, outpatient, swing bed, and pediatric patients.Responsible for the care, safety, and wellbeing of patients during treatment sessions.Demonstrate the ability to evaluate and develop plans of care for patients establishing goals of treatment and plan for discharge; taking into consideration the patients' needs and limitations.Consults with attending physician concerning the patient's needs and limitations, goals, plan of care, progress, and discharge plans.Perform daily documentation of each patient's progress and challenges.Maintains department records properly and completes them correctly.Provide patients and caregivers with educational material as appropriate.Perform monthly comprehensive summaries and weekly goal updates on each patient.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Position Requirements:Speech Language Pathology license required.Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or preapproved provider.
