As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area, we are expanding our team and seeking dedicated caregivers to join us.We are urgently hiring for a Vietnamese-speaking caregiver to assist a client in Houston, TX (77084). This position requires experience with dementia care and a reliable commitment to steady shifts.Location: Greater West Houston (Current Need: Houston, TX 77084)Shifts Available: Day Shift - 8:00 AM to 8:00 PMResponsibilities:* Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to provide daily living assistance, including but not limited to medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care.* Monitor and track client health and well-being, and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor.* Provide companionship and emotional support, with a special focus on dementia care needs.* Assist with errands, appointments, and transportation as needed.* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on client care and activities.* Follow all safety and infection control protocols to protect clients and maintain a clean and healthy environment.* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors to ensure the best care.Requirements:* High school diploma or GED equivalent.* Prior caregiving experience with dementia patients strongly preferred.* Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is ideal but not required.* Ability to pass a background check and reference check.* Must be fluent in Vietnamese to effectively communicate with the client.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Empathy, patience, and compassion toward elderly clients.* Must be comfortable around dogs (client has pets in the home).* Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed.Benefits:* Competitive pay.* Steady, consistent weekly schedule.* Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.* A supportive and caring work environment.* Opportunity to work in a rewarding field that makes a meaningful difference in people's lives.EEOC Statement:Always Best Care Senior Services - Greater West Houston, TX, is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
