Job SummaryThe J is seeking enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for working with children ages 3 months to 11 years and are committed to providing a safe and engaging environment for them. The J's Kid Care has two great options for childcare while parents/guardians workout at The J. The Little J Kid Care offers engaging playtime and sensory opportunities for your younger children, ages 3 months up to 6 years. The Big J Kid Care is a more active area for kids ages 5 to 11 years. Here we introduce them to active play, group games, playground time, crafts, coloring, board games, and more! ScheduleWe offer a flexible schedule and are looking for someone who can work during the week and REQUIRED Sunday morning shifts: Monday - Thursday 4pm-8pmSunday 8am - 1:15pmESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Engage/Lead children in age-appropriate developmental, sensory, and active play fitness activitiesFollow all policies and programming outlines to ensure safe, age-appropriate activities for all childrenGreet children and parents, ensure proper check-in and check-out, and communicate appropriate information at check outAdhere to all staff guidelines during shiftMaintain cleanliness and organization throughout departmentMaintain a positive work environment for staff, children, and parentsMaintain regular and consistent attendance and punctualityResponsible for daily sterilization of toys, tables and areas of regular use Physical Requirements:Must be able to stand, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk, talk and hearUse hands to climb or balanceEmployee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. QualificationsMinimum Age: 16 yearsMUST BE ABLE TO WORK EVENINGS AND SUNDAYSMust have 1+ years' experience working with and caring for childrenCurrent CPR, AED and First Aid certification, or willing to obtain certificationFlexible; Must have the ability to change work schedule as needed for the programExcellent interpersonal communication skillsPosition is PERMANENTThe J is committed to creating a diverse environment.
