Business PlannerPosition OverviewThe Business Planner provides critical administrative and operational support for facility operations, compliance, and service delivery. This role serves as a key liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams, managing CMMS administration, work order coordination, vendor management, inventory control, and compliance documentation in a fast-paced, growing facility environment.Employment Type: Part-TimeSalary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 (prorated based on hours)Schedule: This position supports both 1st and 2nd shift operations.Key ResponsibilitiesCMMS Administration & Work Order ManagementCreate, manage, and track work orders in CMMS for maintenance and service requestsCoordinate resources, provide completion timelines, and follow up with end usersAdminister Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activitiesEnter new equipment data and associated PM schedules into CMMSEnsure all work orders include required supporting documentation for audit readinessMaintain compliance with General Motors and IATF requirementsOrganize and maintain warranties, contracts, and drawingsCompliance & Safety DocumentationManage Pre-Task Plan (PTP) documentation and uploads to ensure compliance with GM safety standardsCoordinate and document Safety Observation Tours (SOTs), including creation of corrective action work ordersComplete six JLL SOTs monthly with housekeeping team and vendor partnersMonitor good catches and perform Corrective Action (CA) AuditsMaintain organized filing systems for safety, environmental, and operational documentationVendor & Procurement ManagementCoordinate work requests, obtain vendor proposals, and schedule site walksGather and organize documentation for client review and approvalProcess Purchase Orders (POs), GRNV transactions, and BTAP exceptionsResolve discrepancies with vendors and accounts payable to ensure timely paymentsInventory & Supply ManagementMonitor and maintain inventory levels for cleaning consumables, coffee supplies, and maintenance materialsTrack usage trends, forecast needs, and proactively reorder suppliesCoordinate with suppliers to prevent stock shortages and operational disruptionsEvent Support & Additional DutiesPlan, coordinate, and execute site events including setup and breakdownMaintain site contact lists, asset lists, and support monthly newsletter creationSupport paperless initiative implementationProvide additional administrative support to Facility Manager as neededRequired QualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred2+ years of experience in administrative support or facility operationsExperience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Technical SkillsProficiency in CMMS platformsAdvanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)Strong data entry and database management capabilitiesExperience with purchase order and procurement processesCore CompetenciesExceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detailStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesProblem-solving abilities and strong follow-throughAbility to work independently and collaborativelyPreferred QualificationsExperience in automotive manufacturing or General Motors facility environmentKnowledge of IATF compliance standardsFamiliarity with safety observation programsWorking ConditionsPart-time position supporting both 1st and 2nd shift operationsOffice environment with occasional site walks and event support activitiesFast-paced, dynamic work environmentJLL is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
