LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Greenville, TX (75402)Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm; Friday 8:30am - 2pm; Saturday/Sunday 6:30am - 8:30am (rotating; once/month)Job Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when needed, Reliable transportation requiredMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:1 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environmentCurrent or prior LabCorp experienceAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agencyAble to pass a standardized color blindness testFlexibility to work overtime as neededAble to work in a fast paced / high volume work environmentExceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionAt LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
