Sample Coordinator
OverviewBrief DescriptionThe Sample Coordinator will support the merchandising team in managing and organizing product samples throughout the development and sales process. The position will play a key role in ensuring samples are received, tracked, organized, and prepared for internal reviews, customer presentations, and line development needs. Each brand offers customers a premier selection and exceptional service for all their sportswear needs, from t-shirts and caps to fleece, performance wear, and outerwear.Main ResponsibilitiesReceive, unpack, tag, and organize incoming samples across multiple product categoriesMaintain and update sample tracking tools to ensure accurate visibility of sample status and locationPrepare samples for internal meetings, line reviews, and customer presentationsCoordinate sample movement between merchandising, design, and product development teamsAssist with sample inventory management, including maintaining sample storage areaSupport merchandising team with basic administrative tasks related to product setup and organizationHelp ensure samples align with seasonal timelines and key milestonesAssist with special projects as needed to support team initiativesMinimum QualificationsRecent graduate or currently pursuing a degree in apparel, textiles, merchandising, design, or a related fieldStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environmentPositive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learnStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teamsInterest in apparel, product creation, and/or retail merchandisingAbility to work on-site in Winston-Salem, NC three days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)Availability during standard business hours (approx. 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, some flexibility)Ability to lift and move sample boxes (up to ~25 lbs) as neededComfortable working in a hands-on, operational environment (sample racks, inventory organization)Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the associate.
