Scale Performance.We are partnering with a leading automotive manufacturer to identify a Maintenance Manager to oversee plant-wide maintenance operations. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for equipment reliability, team performance, and long-term maintenance strategy in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.This opportunity is best suited for a hands-on leader who can balance daily operational demands with continuous improvement, cost control, and team development.What you will be responsible forEquipment reliability and plant supportLead all maintenance activities across production equipment, facilities, and utility systems to ensure a stable and reliable production platformMonitor equipment performance, downtime trends, and recurring issues, driving corrective actions and long-term solutionsDevelop and sustain preventive and predictive maintenance programs in partnership with production leadershipLeadership and workforce managementLead, develop, and support maintenance supervisors, technicians, and tool room personnelReview staffing plans, schedules, and manpower utilization to meet production demandsProvide coaching, training, and performance management to build a high-performing maintenance teamDrive engagement in 5S, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives across the departmentMaintenance strategy and continuous improvementDrive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to eliminate repeat failuresLead productivity, cost reduction, and reliability improvement initiatives across the plantStandardize maintenance processes, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and reduce wasteMaintain oversight of spare parts inventory and tool room operationsPlanning, budgeting, and capital supportDevelop, manage, and execute maintenance budgets, including both short- and long-term planningSupport capital planning, equipment upgrades, and replacement strategiesReview and approve requisitions for parts, supplies, machinery, and equipmentCompliance, safety, and operational standardsEnsure adherence to safety policies, environmental regulations, and company standardsMonitor maintenance activities and projects to ensure safety and quality expectations are metSupport plant safety programs, audits, and policy compliance initiativesCross-functional collaborationPartner with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to align maintenance priorities with production needsEnsure clear communication across teams to support efficient, uninterrupted operationsMaintain strong awareness of operational policies and ensure consistent application across maintenance functionsWhat you bringBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience8 or more years of progressive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment4 or more years of leadership experience managing maintenance teamsHands-on experience with electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, robotics, conveyors, and PLC troubleshootingStrong ability to diagnose equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective countermeasuresAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentationWorking knowledge of automation, robotics, and manufacturing processes in a high-volume environmentExperience in automotive manufacturing preferredFamiliarity with lean manufacturing and Toyota Production System principles preferredLeadership competenciesProven ability to lead teams, develop talent, and drive accountabilityStrong organizational, planning, and time management skillsEffective communicator across all levels of the organizationAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, production-driven environmentComfortable working flexible schedules or responding to urgent plant needs as requiredSystems and toolsProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with ERP or maintenance systems such as Oracle, Kronos, or similar platformsWork environmentAutomotive manufacturing setting with moderate to high noise levelsPPE required in designated areasAbility to move throughout the plant, inspect equipment, and occasionally lift up to 30–50 poundsWhy this opportunity stands outThis role is critical to plant performance.
