This individual will coordinate and manage all phases of real estate, including new café site acquisition and real estate administration. The Real Estate Manager will act as the primary point of contact in communications with brokers and landlords and will execute all assigned projects and initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesTrack and report market progress from initial strategy through full developmentCollaborate with broker networks to present new café site recommendations for approvalNegotiate lease and purchase contracts for approved corporate sites in partnership with the Legal teamManage project timelines and critical deadlines throughout the development process, coordinating with internal and external stakeholdersEvaluate site feasibility and develop pro forma budgets in collaboration with the Accounting team to ensure financial obligations are metCoordinate and communicate new café development schedules and key milestonesPrepare agendas and present real estate updates during weekly meetings; manage administrative coordination across departmentsMaintain accurate documentation and legal records related to real estate transactionsPrepare Proposed Location Summaries for Real Estate Committee review and approvalCoordinate all real estate legal documentation with legal counsel to ensure accuracy and complianceNegotiate lease terms, renewals, and extensions; partner with Operations, Finance, and Legal to finalize agreementsEnsure alignment of terms, conditions, and timelines to support café openings, franchise transfers, or closuresProvide documentation and support to attorneys, engineers, and brokers for licensing and leasing mattersPerform additional duties as assignedWhat You Need to HaveFranchise experience required, including working with franchisees and local brokers to secure sites1–2+ years of experience in commercial real estateKnowledge of geo-demographic and GIS platformsUnderstanding of site development, real estate trends, and industry best practicesExperience with prototypical restaurant development is preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentA collaborative, adaptable, and positive work style with a track record of supporting operations across geographically dispersed marketsHigh emotional intelligence with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholdersPassion for people and proven ability to build strong franchisee and team relationshipsAbility to provide constructive feedback and foster a high-performance, transparent cultureA team-oriented mindset with a commitment to collaboration and shared successStrong alignment with Paris Baguette’s mission, vision, and brand valuesSweet BenefitsCompetitive compensationMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement planPaid time off and paid holidaysFree cake on your birthday 🎂High-performance, growth-oriented culture
