Packaging Machine Operator

Minnesota Staffing is searching dependable candidate for a customer of ours down in Pipestone, MN. This customer is a leading manufacturer of Agricultural chemicals and products in the country. This is a first shift position and requires a pre-employment background and drug test *Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated Packaging Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining agricultural chemical packaging machinery to ensure efficient and high-quality production. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and experience with industrial equipment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic production environment focused on food manufacturing and packaging excellence. *Responsibilities* * Operate packaging machines efficiently, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards * Conduct routine inspections of equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and make minor adjustments as needed * Handle materials and finished products using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts * Follow safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe work environment * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards * Assist with setup, calibration, and changeovers of packaging machinery for different product runs * Document production data accurately and report any machine malfunctions or safety concerns promptly * Support warehouse operations by managing inventory levels of packaging supplies and materials * Use hand tools and machining techniques for minor repairs or adjustments to equipment when necessary *Requirements* * Proven experience operating packaging machinery within a manufacturing or food production setting * Knowledge of industrial equipment troubleshooting and mechanical systems * Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements, weights, and counts * Familiarity with safety standards in production environments, including GMP and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) * Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse tools * Strong understanding of food safety protocols and safety protocol adherence * Mechanical knowledge related to machining, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates If you are motivated by precision, safety, and efficiency in a manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply today.
