Landscape Architect / Landscape DesignerMinneapolis, MN | Direct Hire | $80k - $100k | On-siteKonik is partnering with a well-established architecture and engineering firm to add a Landscape Architect/Designer to its team. Under the direction of a Registered Landscape Architect, you will work on site design and outdoor environments for education, civic, and community-focused projects. This role offers a blend of design, technical execution, and project involvement from concept through construction administration.ResponsibilitiesDevelop landscape plans, site layouts, and design concepts for schools, civic, and community-based projectsSupport projects through city planning, including coordination with municipalities and watershed districtsPerform site design work, including site/landform grading, stormwater considerations, and general site planningCollaborate with civil engineers, architects, and consultants to integrate site and infrastructure designProduce construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3DParticipate in construction administration activities, including site visits and coordination during active projectsContribute to project discussions, client meetings, and design development effortsSupport seasonal project cycles, with heavier field involvement during summer monthsQualifications3-8 years of experience in landscape architecture and site design for commercial, educational, or civic projectsProfessional degree (BLA or MLA) from an accredited Landscape Architecture programLicensed Landscape Architect (PLA/RLA) or actively pursuing licensure within 2 years; CLARB participation or on track for certification preferredStrong experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3DExperience with site planning, grading, and working around stormwater/watershed requirementsAbility to take projects from concept through construction documentation and CAStrong communication and collaboration skillsAdditional Role DetailsDirect mentorship under a Registered Landscape Architect with a long-term growth pathMix of office-based design and field-based construction administrationPrimarily local work with some regional travel (WI, IL, ND, SD)In office 5 days/weekBenefitsComprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision)401(k) with employer contributionPTO and paid holidaysDiscretionary BonusLong-term career growth and leadership development opportunityBe the first to learn about future positions by joining our Newsletter and following us on LinkedIn!Konik is an equal-opportunity employer.
