These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.Job DescriptionJob Summary:Responsible for worldwide product management of various Teledyne FLIR Dual Use camera cores, programs with Tier 1 primes, and providing product and technology leadership to achieve revenue and margin growth targets.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesReporting to the VP of Product Management, responsibilities include:P&L responsibility for Teledyne FLIR’s dual use camera coresPricing, margin, forecasting, allocation and promotionDevelops and owns execution of Teledyne FLIR’s 5-year product roadmap for your portfolio areaDetermines customers' future needs via customer engagement and market researchIdentifies and communicates market problems and new products/capabilities neededPrepares Market Requirements Document (MRD) for new roadmap products.Assesses market competition by comparing the company's products to competitors' productsBrings new products to market as an active leader in the product development teamBuilds collaborative partnerships with the sales team and customers to introduce and promote products.Sets and maintains product pricing by accessing value to customer, competitor pricing, reviewing production, sales costs and anticipating volumesLeads external proposals and internal developments defining business cases for strategic investments.
