Accounts Receivable Representative

Job Title: Account Receivables Representative Address: Bellaire, TX 77401 Duration: 3 Months with Possible Extension Pay Range: $20–24/hr Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day ShiftKey ResponsibilitiesInitiate outbound calls and utilize payer web portals to verify receipt and status of claims/statements and collect outstanding balances Document all follow-up activities, payer conversations, correspondence, and account updates accurately within the system Analyze accounts receivable balances and determine appropriate actions needed for timely resolution Assist with special projects and work queues to support departmental productivity and collection goals Utilize payer portals, soft phones, e-fax systems, and EMR platforms to manage account activity efficiently Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate claims processing Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma required Minimum 2 years of Revenue Cycle or Medical Collections experience required Experience with medical collections and denials management required Strong understanding of government, commercial, and managed care reimbursement methodologies Knowledge of federal, state, and local collection regulations Strong math and analytical aptitude for reimbursement validation and account reconciliation Preferred QualificationsProfessional claims experience preferred Epic experience preferred Government payer experience preferred Familiarity with payer portals, electronic fax systems, and healthcare billing technology“Pride Health offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors”
