EisnerAmper is looking for a Manager to join our Outsourced Finance & Accounting team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is client service oriented, creative and understands business. You will provide outsourced CFO, Controller, Accounting Senior Manager and advisory services for a variety of clients including subsidiaries and joint ventures of Fortune 100 companies, public companies, professionally funded businesses and Fund management companies.Note: this is a hybrid role, where you would be required to work out of either NYC or NJ offices 2 or more days a week.What it Means to Work for EisnerAmper:You will get to be part of one of the largest and fastest growing accounting and advisory firms in the industryYou will have the flexibility to manage your days in support of our commitment to work/life balance.You will join a culture that has received multiple top "Places to Work" awardsWe believe that great work is accomplished when cultures, ideas and experiences come together to create new solutionsWe understand that embracing our differences is what unites us as a team and strengthens our foundationShowing up authentically is how we, both as professionals and a Firm, find inspiration to do our best workWhat work you will be responsible for:Directs and oversees all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions for client businessesEstablishes and maintains strong relationships with clients and client representatives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutionsProvides client with advice on the financial implications of business activitiesManages processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidationProvides recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunitiesEnsures that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reportingWorks on proposals and assisting in developing new businessSupervising engagements and special projects undertaken by the firmOverseeing all aspects of the client engagement, including workpaper review, financial reporting, manage external audit processSupervising, training and evaluating advanced level staffExpanding services to existing clientsCoaching, mentoring and assisting staff so they can developAssist with technical accounting research and workpaper documentationPerforming Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis and proactively providing strategic insights as neededBasic qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting5+ years of either public or public/private accounting experiencePreferred/Desired qualifications:CPA license or candidate for licensureKnowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reportingAbility to lead and develop team membersAbility to handle multiple clients & deadlines at one timeIdentify opportunities to help our clients grow and succeedStrong time management and organizational skillsTeam player with strong communication and analytical skillsTechnical accounting researchUnderstanding of accounting process and controlsSEC reportingAudit experienceTreasury management and cash forecastingExperience working in paperless environment strongly preferredFamiliarity with any of the following cloud based accounting systems: Intacct, NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Bill.com, Concur, ExpensifyEisnerAmper is proud to be a merit-based employer.
