This individual will play a key role in building, transforming, and validating large-scale datasets used for reporting, analytics, and compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in structured environments, and has a strong foundation in SAS programming and data processing.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain SAS programs for data extraction, transformation, and analysis across multiple data sourcesLeverage Base SAS, PROC SQL, data steps, and macro programming to build scalable and efficient data processesUtilize SAS Hash techniques to optimize data handling and performancePerform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and integritySupport regulatory and internal reporting by preparing audit-ready datasets and documentationCollaborate with cross-functional teams including data, risk, and business stakeholdersMaintain thorough documentation aligned with compliance and audit standardsParticipate in code reviews, testing, and production support activitiesQualificationsStrong hands-on experience with Base SAS, SAS Macro, PROC SQL, and data step processingProven ability to build and support ETL workflows using SASExperience with data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance practicesSolid understanding of working with large, complex datasetsStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teamsDetail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and documentationPreferred ExperienceSAS Certification (Base or Advanced Programmer for SAS 9.4)Experience with SAS Cost and Performance Management (SAS CPM) for financial modeling or cost allocationFamiliarity with SDLC processes, change control, and audit frameworks such as SOX or FFIECExposure to SAS Administration concepts (libraries, metadata, user roles, and permissions)Experience with job scheduling tools such as Windows Task Scheduler or BMC Control-MNext StepsNo C2C, relocation, referral, or sponsorship candidates for this role.
