Paralegal – Litigation & Corporate Support (Hybrid)A mid-sized, full-service law firm located in Morristown, New Jersey is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join its growing team. This hybrid role (combination of in-office and remote work) supports attorneys across business, corporate, employment law, and related litigation matters.The Paralegal will play an integral role in the firm's daily operations, assisting with litigation support, corporate documentation, client coordination, and administrative processes. The position reports directly to the firm's managing partners and works closely with attorneys and the firm administrator to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality client service.Primary ResponsibilitiesLitigation & Legal SupportPrepare, edit, format, and finalize litigation pleadings for filing in federal and state courtsSupport all phases of discovery, including document review, organization, and productionAssist with e-filing, cite-checking, and procedural complianceConduct preliminary legal research and locate templates using firm resources and legal databasesReview and organize contracts and related legal documents for attorney and client useAssist with business entity formation filings and related documentationAdministrative & Financial SupportSupport billing functions, including invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivableMaintain and update client billing records, including tracking time entries and reportingAssist with file management, document organization, and internal database upkeepDraft routine correspondence, forms, and internal firm documentsClient & Operational SupportServe as a point of contact for clients when attorneys are unavailable, providing status updates within scopeCoordinate with opposing counsel, court personnel, and external vendors as neededSupport client service delivery and ensure smooth coordination of firm processesQualifications3–5+ years of litigation paralegal experience requiredExperience in labor & employment law, corporate law, or transactional matters preferredStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent mattersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently while contributing effectively in a collaborative team environmentFamiliarity with legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw) and court e-filing systems strongly preferredProactive, resourceful, and adaptable approach to problem-solvingAbout the RoleThis position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving legal environment and is eager to take ownership of meaningful responsibilities.
