Disaster Recovery Analyst/Business Analyst
Job Summary Our client is seeking a Disaster Recovery Analyst/Business Analyst to join their team! This position is located in Maryland Heights, Missouri. Core Responsibilities Develops and plans testing activities for IT business resumption plans, including on-site testing at disaster recovery siteConduct Business Impact Analysis on applications and business functionsIdentify and analyze the gaps in current disaster recovery plans utilizing a risk management frameworkDevelop relationships between dependent parties to narrow the disaster recovery gaps, Infrastructure, application (business and technical) and operationsPerform risk analysis to identify points of vulnerability and recommend disaster avoidance and reduction and makes recommendations regarding critical points of failure and plan weaknessParticipate in Proof of Concept/Technology projects as a Subject Matter Expert for Disaster RecoveryAdvise architecture and IT teams on efficiencies when designing disaster recovery solutionsFacilitate small to large size group meetings for technical design, problem solving, and task implementation Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)3+ years of Disaster Recovery or Business ContinuityStrong understanding of a wide variety of IT functions and technologiesAbility to effectively work independently and in team environmentsUnderstanding of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery best practicesExperience with Configuration Management Databases (CMDB) and IT Ticketing and Digital Management Workflow toolsUnderstanding of Change Management practices, processes, and utilizationPreferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) Knowledge of communications, cable television and/or Internet provider industry DRII/BCI related DR/BC certification with CBCP preferredUse of Fusion Framework BC/DR management tool or similar productUnderstanding of project management practices and proceduresUse of Cherwell CMDB and IT Workflow ticketing systemWork Environment Location: Maryland Heights, Missouri4 days onsiteCompensation & Benefits Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $85,000 - $95,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
