Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction. Measure workpiece dimensions to determine the accuracy of machine operation. Remove defective products from workpiece. Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces. Set up and perform maintenance on machines. Perform related duties as assigned by supervisionQualificationsPrevious experience in a bindery preferred. Must be able to complete and pass Public Trust Security Clearance. WORK ENVIRONMENTThis position works on the production floor in an industrial warehouse setting.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
