CNC Machinist (2nd shift)

To build on this team, we are searching for a CNC Programmer/Machinist. This role will report to Fabrication and Machining team leads and work with other team members to perform CNC programming, setup, and machining of various machine components. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of CNC programming and associated operations, mechanical drawings, proper use of measurement tools, and proper use of conventional tool room equipment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:CNC programming, setup, and operationConventional tool room equipment operation (Bridgeport mills, lathes, grinders, etc.)Maintain equipment and work area to meet and exceed company standardsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent certification (Vocational education preferred)Valid driver's licenseDemonstrated skill in programming/operating CNC equipmentAbility to read/understand mechanical drawings and critical featuresAbility to keep steady pace while bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and climbing into and beneath machinesWork as part of a team or independently with direction from FAB/CNC team leadsAbility to lift to 50 lbs. as requiredAbility to obtain Hi-Lo and Aerial Platform and Overhead Crane LicenseTools Required:ToolboxMeasurement tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, edge finders, etc.)Assorted hand tools (hex keys, wrenches, socket set, screw drivers, etc.)PPE (steel toe boots)
