Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 – $1,770 (travel nurse pay) Location: Lancaster, SC 29720 — South Carolina nursing jobs, Lancaster healthcare Facility Type: Short-term acute care hospital (97 staffed beds) Assignment Duration: 12 weeks (travel nursing contract) Start Date: April 27, 2026 Shift: 4x12-hour nights (18:45 – 07:15); will consider 3x12s — night shift RN Hours per Week: 36 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Unit: Med/Surg, 6th Floor — medical-surgical nursing Patient Ratio: 1:6–1:7 Charting: Epic EMR Scrub Color: Royal Blue Parking: Free Job Requirements Minimum 3 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience (medical-surgical nursing) Previous travel nursing experience required Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license (must be in hand prior to start) Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Telemetry and cardiac monitoring experience preferred; dysrhythmia interpretation and management preferred Must complete all assigned facility modules prior to start date Attendance at staff meetings required Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered) Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses: acute pain, CHF, COPD, diabetes, post-surgical care, sepsis, wound care, and more Monitor and manage telemetry, cardiac rhythms, and dysrhythmias (telemetry nurse responsibilities) Care for patients with colostomy/ileostomy, feeding tubes, and pre/post hemodialysis needs Perform medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, and post-op nursing interventions Implement isolation precautions and PPE protocols to maintain infection control Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams Float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units as required Maintain accurate documentation using the Epic EMR charting system Participate in emergency response teams and disaster preparedness during hurricane season (June–November) Why apply?
