Graphite Assembler C-6th shift

Job Summary:To assemble, bond, and rework a variety of graphite parts and assemblies. May be required to assisthigher grade Assemblers.Job Responsibilities: Performs a number of duties to assemble, bond, and rework a variety of graphite assemblies. Bonds and assembles graphite and sheet metal details using assembly jigs with the useof rivets, fasteners, screws, and liquid adhesive. Uses standard methods to lay up graphite parts. Prepares graphite parts for painting by sanding and finishing parts to an even andsmooth surface. Loads and unloads graphite assemblies in oven and cures to bonding specifications. Uses small hand tools, sanders, rivet guns, drills, gauges, and other measuring instruments. Responsible only for own work.
