Senior Java DeveloperSenior Java Developer for a multi-year engagement for new tool development with a foremost Healthcare's IT Solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated professional who offers strong hands-on Java development, analytical and problem-solving skills. To be considered, the consultant must reside in the San Francisco Bay Area.Scope of Responsibilities:Monitor batch jobs and web applications in pre-production and production and take the necessary actions to address issues.Develop and implement solutions to improve development activities using Shell script, Java/JEE and SQL Server architecture.Document, maintain and present best practice strategies to ensure near-term changes are aligned with long-term IT objectives.Review team members code, as well as document development phases.Experience:Solid (8+) years as a Senior Java Developer or similar role with demonstrated complex technical achievements.Full application development life cycle and production support experience.Experience in production support activities.Significant experience in MS SQL Server and creating SQL queries.Experience using GIT.Experience with Java 8, Angular 7, Spring Boot, Spring MVC. JavaScript is an asset.Experience with build tools such as Maven.Experience with building RESTful APIs.Experience with Java testing framework such as JUnit.Experience with web application servers preferably, Tomcat.Linux (Red Hat preferred).Healthcare domain knowledge will be a plusExcellent communication skills with the ability to function equally well as a team member and individual contributor.Education:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering
