Yard Associate Position The Yard associate position supports the business's successful operations by contributing to day-to-day Yard operations.Pay Range: $21-$25 an hr DOEEssential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:PVC routing, loading, cutting, and cycle counts.Assures that the yard is in good safe working order.Checks work orders to make sure appropriate equipment is staged for loading.Assists customers by filling orders and loading trucks.Inspects returned equipment for damage during the rental period.Maintains a checklist of equipment status.Ensures safe work habits for all staff through supervision and training.Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager.Requirements:Required Education and Experience:High School diploma1-year experience preferredExperience in distribution, shipping, and receivingKnowledge of equipment utilization and safety requirementsPersonal and professional integrityA clear understanding of the necessity of equipment safety and integrityUse of tool and equipmentWe've got you covered.Merchants Metals employees give a lot, and we offer benefits that fit their needs.
