This role serves as the primaryonsitedelivery lead for digital tools, workflows, and system integrations supporting construction, project controls, ES&H, commissioning and startup,turnover activities, and otherconstruction systems and platforms.The Construction Automation Lead combines hands-on subject matter expertise with firstline supervisory responsibility. The role focuses on tactical execution, issue resolution, user adoption, and consistent application of approved M&T Construction Automation standards, tools, and configurations in the field.Major Responsibilities:Execute and supportday-to-dayConstruction Automationactivities in support of construction execution and field operationsServe as the primaryonsitesubject matter expert forConstruction Automationsystems, tools, and workflowsSupport deployment, configuration, and operation of approvedConstruction Automationsystems in alignment with M&T standardsMonitor system usage, data quality, and workflow execution and resolve issuesimpactingdaily operationsProvide hands-on troubleshooting and operational support for site digital systems and integrationsTranslate field execution needsand requestsinto practical automation solutions within approved standards and configurationsSupervise and coordinate the work ofConstruction AutomationSpecialists, as assignedSupport training, onboarding, and user adoption efforts for project teams and contractorsIdentifyrecurring operational issues or risks and escalate systemic items to project orConstruction Automationleadership as appropriateCapture sitelevel issues and lessons learned and provide continuous improvement recommendations to the M&TConstruction AutomationfunctionEducation and Experience Requirements:Requires Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline and 10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.Required Knowledge and Skills:10+ years of experience supporting construction or capital project digital systemsHandsonexperience with construction automation platforms and digital workflows in an EPC or construction environmentStrong understanding of construction workflows, field execution, and site-leveldata requirementsExperience supporting project controls, ES&H, quality, commissioning,and various other systems and platforms used on major capital projectsDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot system, workflow, and integration issues in active project environmentsExperience supervisingandmentoring technical staff in a project settingStrong communicationskills and the ability to work effectively with field personnel, project leadership,contractors, and client representativesTotal Rewards/Benefits:For decades, Bechtel has worked to inspire the next generation of employees and beyond!
