This role ensures that the resources required for a specific job are scheduled according to the resource availability and operation's requirements.Major ResponsibilitiesFollow the Scheduling philosophy and execute resource loading according the BTN-MAN procedures Leads the daily schedule update meeting (add priority jobs and update any schedule changes) as well as the weekly backlog & schedule meeting Independently maintains the backlog and work with the Maint. Coordinators (Day Technicians), CMC Planners and Emergency Coordinators to schedule jobs (order operations) in a timely manner Provide a base loaded schedule and work lists for the multiple future weeks Completes and distributes the preliminary next week’s schedule according BTN-MAN procedures Updates and publishes the work schedules with little to no supervision Resolve over allocation issues for Nested Contractors Keeps track on schedule compliance results and initiate/coordinate corrective actions Responsible for training schedulers on all Covestro systems and scheduling procedures. Conducts onboarding and scheduling proficiency sessions for all new schedulers before they transition into the Senior Scheduler role. Monitors or assists with any future training needs. What You OfferBasic QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent with 12 years of heavy industrial maintenance experience or Associate's degree with 7 yrs heavy industrial maintenance experience or Bachelor's degree with 4 years heavy industrial maintenance experience Minimum 3 years planning/scheduling experience The eligibility to apply for and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) within a reasonable timeframe Knowledge & SkillsDemonstrated experience in scheduling for all crafts Knowledge and experience with contractor management In-depth knowledge with SAP - PM Maintenance Transactions and Prometheus Experience using Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative team environment Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills Effective problem-solving skills Demonstrated organizational ability YOUR APPLICATIONAre you as curious, courageous and colorful as we are?
