Job DescriptionInova Physical Therapy Center in Annandale is looking for an outpatient Physical Therapist to our outstanding team! This position Full-time (40 hrs/ week) working Monday to Friday and two evenings shifts per week until 7:00pm. We are looking for Physical Therapist that are interested in Ortho, Sports Medicine, Vestibular, and/or Oncology Rehab. We are also proud to be consistently recognized as a top employer in both the D.C. metro area and the nation.Featured Benefits:Committed to Team Member Health: offering medical, dental and vision coverage, and a robust team member wellness program.Retirement: Inova matches the first 5% of eligible contributions - starting on your first day.Tuition and Student Loan Assistance: offeringup to $5,250 per year in education assistance and up to $10,000 for student loans.Mental Health Support: offering all Inova team members, their spouses/partners, and their children 25 mental health coaching or therapy sessions, per person, per year, at no cost.Work/Life Balance: offeringpaid time off, paid parental leaveOutpatient Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities:Documents the results of evaluations clearly and completely by including all essential elements according to department policy.Completes daily progress notes that reflect patients' responses to treatment, actual performance, and an assessment as to status relevant to the treatment plan in addition to eventual discharge needs and treatment summaries if needed.Completes discharge notes that include a summary of the course of treatment, progress toward goals, discharge needs, recommendations for follow-up and patient and/or family education.Documents clearly, concisely and legibly within established timeframes (e.g. allow other therapists to continue treatment, allow for interpretation by payers, supports reimbursements).Documents evidence of patient and family/caregiver education.Contacts families, physicians or other healthcare team members in anticipation of special needs of the patients or families in a timely manner to facilitate effective treatment plans.May perform additional duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements:Education: Bachelor of Science in Physical TherapyLicensure: Virginia Physical Therapist License or Physical Therapist compact privileges required upon startCertification: BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start.Experience: New grad welcomePreferred Requirements:Master's degree preferredOutpatient experienceOrtho, Sports Medicine, Vestibular, and/or Oncology Rehab.About UsWe are Inova, Northern Virginia's leading nonprofit healthcare provider.
