Fulfillment Team Lead

The Fulfillment Lead will be responsible for driving material requirements to maximize on time ship and minimize inventory exposure. Data analysis will include measuring on time shipments, master data accuracy in SAP, supplier performance, and product availability. The ideal candidate will be able to work cross functionally and play a fundamental role in optimizing the SIOP process.We are open to applicants in any of our office locations: Cleveland, Greenville, Hendersonville.Essential Responsibilities:Lead periodic SIOP discussions with Sales and Product Management to develop consensus plan (at least monthly).Perform inventory and product planning calculations based on projections and history and manage MRP Settings in SAP (i.e. safety stocks, min/max and rounding values and consumption modes) to maximize On Time Ship (OTS) and achieve inventory goals.Act as the centralized contact for Customer Service, Fulfillment Leads from global poles, Technology, Product Management, Sales, Sourcing and Manufacturing around supply/demand of Specialty Lighting products.Perform inventory and product phase-in / phase-out plans, including production, sales and inventory transition plans for new products and for products being eliminated/replaced to minimize obsolescence.Interface with supplier base and buyer to communicate forecast and manage delivery schedules to meet customer requirements.Support localization strategies, engineering initiatives and TCO programs. Encourage lean methodology, identify risks, timing and cost/benefit impact to product lines.Facilitate Product Life Cycle discussions for Specialty Lighting and implement necessary changes.Qualifications:BS/BA Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain5 - 7 years of relevant operations experience including scheduling, planning, inventory control and supply chain.Proven Leadership ability.Excellent problem-solving skills, sound judgment, initiative, and creativity.Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills. Must be able to interface with personnel in different layers of the organization.Customer focus, high energy and aggressive approach to finding opportunities to improve proactively and improving customer experienceAbility to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at any given time.Experience working with Asian Suppliers.Some travel may be requiredDesired Qualifications:Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six SigmaStrong knowledge of SAP S4 Hanna, IBP and/or equivalent ERP System.APICS certification
