Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Springfield, IL Agency: Lancesoft Inc Pay: $2,910 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the PositionTravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified PCU RN in Springfield, Illinois, 62702!Minimum 1 year experience required.Required Work Setting Experience: Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown.Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response.Required Cardiovascular Skills/Experience: Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Sheath Removal, TR Band.Required Gastrointestinal Skills/Experience: Feeding tube care and management.Required Genitourinary/Renal Skills/Experience: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure. Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Accessing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs.Required Medication Skills/Experience: Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, PCA, Procedural Sedation Administration, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips. Required Neurological/Psychiatric Case Experience: Craniotomy, CVA, Pre/Post neurosurgery, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury. Required Orthopedics Case Experience: Ortho Trauma, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Total Joint Replacements.Required Plastic Surgery Case Experience: Skin grafts, Surgical drains.Required Respiratory Skills/Experience: Care of Ventilated Patient, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy Management.Required Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac.
