Your place in our story
The Construction Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, monitoring and updating all project schedules and activities in BuildPro for construction projects.
Here's how you'll contribute
Plan and control project scheduling activities to ensure the end-to-end development of the construction schedule.
Create and revise preliminary schedules for Operations, detailing the sequence of all work to be performed before the project start date.
Maintain and update summary and detailed schedules for ongoing project reporting and other program management needs.
Assist Project Managers and Site Superintendents in creating short-term schedules, monitor these schedules to determine their impact, and assist in corrective actions.
Prepare weekly progress reports in both narrative and schedule summary formats.
Estimate the time required for change orders and incorporate these changes into the schedules.
Create and communicate 2-week and one-month look-ahead schedules for the project.
Be flexible to the demands of the role within the scope of the department.
Conduct on-site training for Construction Superintendents and host webinars on the scheduling system.
Flexibility to travel to work sites as needed.
Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management.
What you bring to the team
Education: Associates Degree is preferred. (i.e. Architecture, Construction, and/or Project Management).
Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in construction scheduling, project planning, field management or integrated scheduling in programs is required.
Skills, Knowledge and abilities:
Microsoft Office (Word, Advanced Excel) and Outlook
Experience with BuildPro, MS Project or other scheduling software/programs
Detail Oriented and Accurate
Skilled in analytical problem solving
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated ability in inputting data schedules
Exceptional time management and organization skills
