Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Walnut Ridge, AR, for a Graduate Assistant Wrestling Coach. The Graduate Assistant Wrestling Coach will be responsible for assisting with coaching duties, training student-athletes, and overseeing their development within the program. Key tasks include assisting with practice planning, recruiting prospective student-athletes, providing support during competitions, and ensuring compliance with rules and regulations. This role also involves fostering academic achievement and personal growth in student-athletes and contributing to the overall success of the wrestling program. Qualifications Proficient in Wrestling and Wrestling Coaching, with experience in coaching techniques and athlete development.Strong Communication skills for effectively interacting with student-athletes, staff, and other stakeholders.Demonstrated ability in Coaching and Training to develop competitive athletes and enhance team performance.Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage program responsibilities and support student-athletes’ success.Experience as a collegiate wrestler is preferred.Bachelor’s degree required.
