Java Consultant with WebSphere

Overview In this role you will support and evolve large J2EE-based applications within a production and maintenance context. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust system solutions, address root causes, and ensure reliable service delivery. ResponsibilitiesMaintain and support J2EE applications in production and maintenance environmentsWork on Web services and integration technologies (WebSphere Message Broker, Web Methods)Contribute to design and architecture reviews; perform root cause analysisTranslate functional and non-functional requirements into system requirementsCollaborate with diverse stakeholders in a team settingParticipate in the software development lifecycle including maintenance and support activities Key requirementsAt least 5 years of experience with J2EE technologiesAt least 4 years in application maintenance and production supportAt least 4 years in Web services, WMB or Web Methods, Java/J2EE, Struts, Spring, XMLAt least 4 years in SDLC including maintenance and production supportAt least 4 years translating requirements into system requirementsAt least 3 years in design/architecture reviews and root cause analysisBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; or three years of progressive experience in lieu of educationAt least 4 years IT experienceU.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)teamwork in diverse/stakeholder environmentseffective communicationproblem-solvingJ2EEJavaStruts
