Repair and programming of golf course irrigation systems and familiarity with turf fertility and diseases desired. Supervision of other part-time employees will be required in absence of full-time employees. May extend work through winter months for snow removal. Work involves working outside in all weather conditions. Evening and weekend work may be required.Previous Work ExperienceSome experience in retail sales or customer service is desirable. Knowledge of golf helpful.EducationHigh School graduate or equivalent.Special Skills & TrainingMust be at least 18 years old. A minimum of two years’ experience in golf course maintenance required. Experience with all types of golf course maintenance equipment and golf course irrigation required. Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s license with good driving record. Michigan Pesticide Applicator license desired. Good customer service skills. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and complete basic written reports required.Start Date & Work ScheduleASAPUp to 40 hours per week, variable schedules - days, evenings, and weekends.
