What You'll Do: Manage the care of adult inpatients across various medical conditions, focusing on diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care during evening and overnight hours. Collaborate effectively with a team of physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Perform comprehensive patient evaluations at night, order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing patient care. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, addressing questions and concerns with empathy and clarity, even during potentially more challenging nighttime situations. Document medical histories, progress notes, and other clinical information accurately and thoroughly. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a patient-centered care environment specifically tailored to the night shift.
