About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to support our sales and project management teams. This role is critical to the business—responsible for translating architectural drawings and specifications into clear, accurate, and competitive bid packages. You will work closely with leadership and internal stakeholders to: Analyze project requirementsDevelop cost estimatesIdentify risks and gaps in scopeEnsure all estimates are thorough, structured, and reliable This is a high-ownership, back-of-house role ideal for someone who thrives in a technical, detail-driven environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work. Key Responsibilities 1. Estimating & Takeoffs Perform detailed takeoffs from: Architectural drawingsSpecificationsProject documentation Accurately quantify materials, components, and scope requirements 2. Cost Estimation & Proposal Development Develop complete and structured bid packages for: Custom millworkArchitectural woodworkCustom door systems Create itemized cost breakdowns, including: Wood speciesHardwareSpecialty materials Estimate labor requirements in collaboration with internal teams 3. Scope Review & Risk Identification Analyze project documents to identify: Scope gapsExclusionsPotential risks Clearly document assumptions and clarificationsEnsure estimates are both competitive and protected 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with: General ManagerSales teamProject managers Respond to RFIs and scope clarification requestsSupport alignment between estimating, sales, and production 5.
