Project Manager

Job Title: Project ManagerJob DescriptionThis position is responsible for managing projects of moderate to difficult scope and complexity. The Project Manager will indirectly supervise multidisciplinary teams including Mechanical, Electrical, and Firmware Engineers. A key focus of the role is ensuring that all project development and documentation strictly adhere to the Quality System and design control processes.Responsibilities+ Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scheduling and setting milestones.+ Collaborate with Engineering management to secure and allocate project resources.+ Provide recurring project status updates to stakeholders, Executive Management, and other departments.+ Manage communication channels, clarify team roles, and motivate members to maintain a high-morale environment.+ Maintain the project Design History File, provide technical oversight, and make necessary technical decisions.Essential Skills+ 4 years of experience in project management and/or engineering.+ Proficiency in waterfall and/or agile methodologies to manage projects of moderate complexity.+ Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to allocate resources effectively.+ Excellent communication skills to facilitate channels between the project team, stakeholders, and management.+ Leadership and motivational skills to promote a high-morale environment while managing roles and interdependencies.+ Ability to navigate and negotiate competing priorities effectively.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ A Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Management is required.+ A formal Project Management certification is highly desired.+ Experience working within a heavily regulated industry is considered a strong asset.+ Ability to make technical decisions with a short-term impact with little to no supervisory review.Work EnvironmentThis role offers high-level autonomy to make technical decisions as necessary. The position involves managing projects of difficult scope and complexity, supervising teams without the administrative burden of direct reporting employees. The role is within the Molecular R&D Engineering department, providing executive visibility through communication with management to achieve project goals. The position requires the ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods and the proper use of PPE for most of the day. Candidates must be open to domestic travel, which will account for 5 to 10 percent of their time.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Salt Lake City, UT.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
