Job DetailsDescriptionPosition SummaryThe Shipping Clerk is responsible for fulfilling orders while working both independently and as part of a team. This role requires the ability to complete order fulfillment for both internal and external customers in an accurate and timely manner. The Shipping Clerk is expected to successfully complete all required on‑the‑job training and e‑learning programs. The position requires initiative, a commitment to teamwork, a customer‑focused mindset, and a demonstrated ability to identify and implement efficient solutions.Essential Responsibilities & ExpectationsSelect and pull correct parts from inventory in the appropriate quantitiesAccurately process and complete parts orders with minimal supervisionSafely operate lift trucks in accordance with company policies and proceduresRespond professionally and effectively to customer needs and requestsMentor and support Shipping Clerk Trainees as assignedDeliver parts and packages to designated areas in a timely mannerCoordinate pickup and delivery of merchandise with common carriersPerform other duties as assigned by managementUphold the Core Values of Safe and Secure, Stronger Together, People of Integrity, and Driven to Serve. QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or the equivalentExperienceA minimum of 1-3 years of work experience involving shipping related tasks is preferred.Experience using personal computers and basic typing skills are required.Skills and CompetenciesEffective written, verbal, and telephone communication skillsBasic computer and data entry skillsJob Training RequirementsCompletion of area‑specific parts operations trainingCompletion of required OSHA trainingForklift (lift truck) operator certificationCompletion of all required compliance trainingSafety SummaryWorking ConditionsWork is typically performed in a Parts Warehouse or Service Department shop environment.
