Electrical Leader

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Machine Tool Electrical Leader with an automation company. Will be overseeing 15-30 Electricians and need to have experience ordering materials.Day ShiftResponsibilitiesOversee electrical jobs from beginning to completion and installation.Plan layout, install, and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment.Consult on electrical issues with department employees.Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste and ensure safety.Prepare sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follow diagrams or blueprints.Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit.Pull wiring through conduit and splice wires together.Connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment.Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches and circuit-breaker panels.Connect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads.Test continuity of circuits to ensure compatibility and safety using testing instruments.Observe functioning of installed equipment to detect hazards and need for adjustments.Repair faulty equipment or systems.Cut and weld steel structural members as needed.Troubleshoot and debug electrical issues.Provide daily project status reports.
