Behind every placement is our experienced operations team handling compliance, credentialing, and communication so you can focus on delivering exceptional care.Catalytic Solutions—where clinicians thrive, partners trust us, and healthcare staffing gets smarter.Exciting Opportunity for Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSW)!\n\nJob Description:\n\n- Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment \n- Float between units, providing critical care \n- Engage with adult and pediatric patients in the Emergency Room \n\nWork Schedule:\n\n- Day shifts, 4x10-hour format (07:00 - 17:30) \n- Every other weekend required (Saturday & Sunday)\n\nRequirements:\n\n- Must be licensed as a Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Independent Clinical Social Worker \n- 1 year of experience preferred in conducting crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics \n- Hospital experience is a plus \n- Charting experience required (Any system)\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments \n- Assist patients with navigating the Department of Children and Families (DCF) process \n- Coordinate services for home care and equipment following discharge \n- Participate in care conference activities \n- Refer patients to rehab and long-term care facilities as needed \n- Provide individual, marriage, and parental counseling \n\nCommunity Knowledge:\n\n- Familiarity with programs such as:\n - AFDC (Aid to Families with Dependent Children) \n - Food Stamps \n - Medicaid and Medicare \n - TANF (Temporary Aid for Needy Families) \n - Medication Assistance \n\nProtective Services Knowledge:\n\n- Adult and child protective services \n- Emergency detention, guardianship, and Power of Attorney \n\nSpecialized Areas:\n\n- Understanding of adoption and foster care \n- Knowledge of drug/alcohol use and treatment options \n- Psychiatric hospital procedures (5150/Involuntary holds) \n\nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): \nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
