Compensation is based on your unique qualifications and experience. Job Summary The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant execution of payroll across all payroll cycles. This role is the primary payroll executor, ensuring employees are paid correctly every cycle while following documented procedures, controls, and escalation paths during a period of system change and long?term stabilization. Responsibilities and Duties Payroll ExecutionExecute weekly and bi-weekly payroll according to approved calendarsProcess payroll runs using approved payroll systemsValidate payroll inputs, including hours worked, pay rates, PTO, and job costingReview payroll outputs, identify and address discrepanciesSupport off-cycle payroll processing if required and approvedMaintain required payroll records and reportsSupport audits and internal reviews as neededEscalate issues that affect payroll timing, data integrity, and accuracy Employee Outreach, Timekeeping Support, and TrainingServe as the primary point of contact for questions related to time entry, adjustments, and approvalsProvide ongoing guidance and reminders to support accuracy and timely submissionCoordinate with the Payroll Systems Specialist to flag systemic issues and suggest improvementsSupport the onboarding of new employees and managers by managing orientationManage distribution of printed training materials and media Qualifications and Education Requirements5+ years of payroll processing experience, in-house or outsourcedConstruction or cost, payroll, and time tracking proficiencyCommand of all aspects of payroll compliance, including taxes, benefit tracking, and reporting Skills and AbilitiesProven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environmentStrong ability to process payroll accurately and consistently under tight deadlinesHigh attention to detail with commitment to confidentiality and discretionAbility to explain timekeeping requirements clearly and repeatedlyExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to support a wide range of user populations with different technical proficienciesWillingness to escalate issues early and recognize risk vs routine Physical RequirementsMust be able to work in an indoor office environment and an active outdoor construction environmentMust be able to ascend and descend ladders and stairsMust be able to work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipmentMust be able to traverse irregular and steep terrainMust be able to work in various weather conditions and be exposed to dirt or dustMust be able to wear the required personal protective equipment most of the dayMust be able to lift and carry 25lbs regularly and 50lbs occasionallyMust be able to work for long periods of time in front of a computer or while standingCompensation details: 25-30 Hourly WagePIed2e3965eecf-26289-40611331
