Mobile RV Technician - $3000 Sign-On Bonus

DescriptionThe Mobile RV Specialty Technician will perform specialized repairs and maintenance for travel trailers, 5th wheels, and motorized recreational vehicles, on site. Mobile truck is provided along with tools needed to perform mobile repairs.Duties/ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, etc.Performs tests on specific parts and systems to confirm proper mechanical function; ensures that all critical parts are examined.Communicate additional service requests to service advisorPlan work in cooperation with shop foremanProvide labor estimates to service advisorMonitor repair time and update service advisorMaintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operationComplete story and/or documentation for client repairsKeep current with factory technical bulletinsUnderstand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)Perform warranty repairs as neededRequirementsRequired Skills/AbilitiesValid Driver's license requiredAbility to professionally communicate with customers while on siteKnowledge of the specialized area and general repairs.Excellent mechanical repair skills.Excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to visually diagnose mechanical issues.Ability to read service and repair manuals.Ability to perform repairs in a timely fashion.Ability to read work requests, ensuring the scope of work requested meets customer expectation.Education and ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent required.Three years of related experience recommended.Physical RequirementsAbility to work independentlyMust be able to work safely in areas with space constraintsMust be able to lift 30 lbs. regularly.Must be able to inspect vehicles to determine repairs needed.Good vision to inspect repair work.Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.J-18808-Ljbffr
